FACIAL CUPPING

FACIAL CUPPING

The ancient practice that has been around for centuries, used by the Chinese, Tibetan, Vietnamese & Japanese cultures in their healing traditions and is much more than a beauty treatment. Not only does it relax facial tension and provide lymphatic drainage, it also helps alleviate physical imbalances that manifest in our face.

Facial Cupping is incredibly relaxing and helps to tone the muscles and increases blood flow and by doing this it stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, which help to tighten and plump the faces muscle structure. By using the Facial Cupping technique we help to drain lymphatic fluid that causes puffiness and also helps to clear the skin.

It can also reduce the appearance of pigmentation, producing a more even skin tone after a few treatments. You can often see or feel a difference after having one treatment, for maximum benefit and longer lasting effects regular treatments are recommended.

Add this anti-ageing facial cupping treatment to a Facial Reflexology or Zone Face Lift.

By using silicone facial cups to glide over the skin which has been massaged with facial elixir we aim to help tone the facial muscles and increase blood flow, so encouraging a healthier looking oxygenated skin with the addition of a glowing complexion.

Facial Cupping stimulates collagen and elating production, which helps to tighten & plump the skin, reduce puffiness under the eyes and sculpt the neck and jawline, softening fine lines and wrinkles.

What to expect during a facial cupping session

You will be asked to lie flat on a bed for the duration of the treatment and I request you wear a vest top so I can access and apply oil to your face neck and around clavicle area as required. You will be made comfortable by the use of a cushion under your knees to take the stain off your lower back and a warm throw will be used to cover you.

The treatment involves some opening relaxation moves and stretching moves to the neck & shoulders to help release any stress or tension.

The face is then cleansed with organic facial cleanser and removed using hot towels and then zone face lift elixir or grapeseed oil is massaged into the face, neck & décolletage before facial cupping commences.

The use of medium & small soft silicone facial cups are used to gently suction and glide over the skin (which should help you to feel relaxed and is pain free) whilst following the contours of your face, neck and décolletage.

The skin may begin to feel warm during the treatment, this is perfectly normal, it is due to the blood flow being drawn to the surface of the skin and stimulates the production of oxygenated blood, collagen & fibroblasts, resulting in plump, glowing healthy skin.

Most clients find the treatment to be very soothing and will notice a difference immediately after their session.

There should not be any bruising however occasionally this may happen and in this case arnica cream can be applied, which I have available.
